Body Art Blogs that Fail! & Some Meta

So, you may have noticed I’m slowing down a bit in the posts, posting every other day or something instead of every day (or almost every day), like I’ve been posting since November.

I thnk that’s okay for a blog of this type.  I wanted to hurry and get some solid, original content in first, instead of just regurgitating “news” like so many other blogs do,  but I can’t write an in-depth essay every day!

I may do more shorter posts, maybe troubleshooting tips, or a question-and-answer format, since many of you have asked me to focus on specific issues. And I’ll probably regurgitate some news, too.  (grin).

So don’t give up.  I’ve got some more aftercare-in-detail posts coming up for you, and another great profile coming soon!

In the meantime, here are some of the random “body art” blogs I’ve come across.  Most are thinly disguised advertisements–buy belly rings!  Here are a few, for comparison purposes only!

Pregnancy Belly Button Rings. This is actually one of the better ones, with original content (I think)–and they referenced my body art laws post, so they show good taste!

Jewelpaedia:  This is a really strange one, which purports to be an “encyclopedia.” The first post was on “chastity piercing,” which, beyond the practice of infibulation in BDSM, nobody I know has ever heard of.  Very strange–and they didn’t post my comment on it, either.

Navel Rings in Detail. Another weird jewelry selling  blog.  Not sure why, but some people think navel “rings” are the only acceptable (or lucrative) body jewelry around.

We Fill Holes. Yet another jewelry selling blog with big talk “news from the world of piercing & tattoos” and no follow-through.

I think I’m doing a bit better than these guys.  And I’m not selling anything! And . . . is that a marshmallow on that guy’s nose, or what?

Jewelpaedia spelled navel “navAl” (look in the January archives). I know it seems piddly, but it really gets on my last nerve and also strikes me as being uneducated.

I agree. Very irritating! As least I can spell!

    Most of the time!
